FAQ

Common Questions

Do you accept hardware for review?

We prefer to buy our own hardware to avoid any implicit obligation. If you want to send something, we'll still test it honestly — which means a negative verdict if that's what we find. We disclose when a product was provided by a manufacturer.

Can I submit a guest post?

Not at this time. We're a small team and we maintain a consistent voice by writing everything ourselves. We're not looking for sponsored content or paid placements either.

I found a mistake — how fast will you fix it?

Factual corrections are our highest priority. We'll investigate within 24 hours and update within 48 if the error is confirmed. Typos get fixed same-day. We add a correction note at the bottom of the article with a timestamp.

How do you choose what to test next?

A mix of what's just launched, what's generating questions in reader mail, and what we're personally curious about. Budget components in the $150–$350 range tend to get tested first because that's where guidance is most useful.
